Refunds and Cancellations Policy

At Thunder & Zen, we strive to ensure our clients and players are satisfied with our games, interactive experiences, and digital services. Because we offer both digital products and custom development services, our refund and cancellation terms vary depending on the type of product or service purchased.
1. Digital Products (Games and Software)
This section applies to digital downloads, games, and in-game purchases developed by Thunder & Zen.
- Direct Purchases: Due to the easily duplicable nature of digital goods, all sales of games, software, and digital downloads purchased directly through our website are generally final and non-refundable once the download process has begun.
- Third-Party Storefronts: If you purchased our game through a third-party platform (e.g., Steam, Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play), your purchase is governed by the refund policy of that specific platform. Please initiate any refund requests directly through their respective storefronts.
- Exceptions: We may grant refunds at our sole discretion if the digital product is proven to be fundamentally defective, severely bugged, or incompatible in a way not disclosed prior to purchase, provided you notify us within 14 days of purchase.
2. Custom Services (Websites, Catalogs, Interactive Experiences)
This section applies to B2B clients engaging Thunder & Zen for custom design, development, and interactive media services.
- Deposits and Upfront Fees: Standard custom projects require an upfront deposit (typically 30% to 50%) to secure resources and begin initial design. This deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Milestone Payments: For larger projects, payments are tied to specific deliverables or milestones. Once a milestone is approved and paid for, that payment is non-refundable.
- Cancellation by the Client: You may cancel a custom service contract at any time by providing written notice. Upon cancellation, you will be invoiced for any work completed up to the date of cancellation that has not yet been paid for. Once the final outstanding balance is settled, any completed assets will be handed over to you.
- Cancellation by Thunder & Zen: We reserve the right to cancel a project if the client repeatedly fails to communicate, provide necessary materials, or breach our Terms of Service. In such cases, we will retain the deposit for work performed and refund any surplus advance payments if the work delivered does not match the payment received.
3. Retainer Services (Social Media Management & Maintenance)
For ongoing services such as monthly website maintenance or ongoing social media posts:
- Cancellation: Month-to-month retainer services require a 30-day written cancellation notice. You will be billed for the final 30 days following your notice, and we will continue to provide services through the end of that billing period.
- Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-month cancellations of retainer services.
4. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
To cancel a service contract or request a refund for an eligible purchase, please contact our support team.

We aim to process and respond to all requests within 3 to 5 business days. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
